1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Localfox (“Localfox”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or otherwise using Localfox, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.

2. Description of Localfox

Localfox is a hiring and recruitment platform that supports employers, recruiters, and candidates throughout the recruitment process — including sourcing, candidate matching, resume review, and interview scheduling.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account, and keep that information up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Employer Responsibilities

Employers and recruiters are responsible for the accuracy of job postings and hiring-related information they provide, for conducting their own diligence on candidates, and for complying with applicable employment and labor laws in their hiring decisions and communications.

5. Candidate Responsibilities

Candidates are responsible for the accuracy of the information they submit, including resumes, employment history, and skills, and for engaging professionally and honestly with employers through the platform.

6. Recruitment and Hiring

Localfox facilitates recruitment workflows between employers and candidates but does not guarantee employment, candidate selection, candidate performance, or any particular hiring outcome. Hiring decisions are made solely by the employers using the platform.

7. Candidate Information and Resumes

Candidates grant Localfox permission to process and share their profile information and resumes with employers and recruiters as part of the recruitment workflows they participate in. See our Privacy Policy for more detail on how this information is handled.

8. Interview Scheduling

Localfox may provide scheduling tools and integrations to help employers and candidates coordinate interviews. Users are responsible for confirming interview details and attending scheduled interviews.

9. Google Calendar Integration

Localfox offers an optional Google Calendar integration to support interview scheduling. By connecting Google Calendar, you acknowledge that:

• The integration is optional and requires your explicit authorization through Google’s OAuth consent flow;
• Localfox may create, update, or cancel interview events on your connected calendar, within the permissions you grant;
• You may revoke this access at any time, from within Localfox or through your Google Account permissions; and
• Your use of Google Calendar remains subject to Google’s own terms of service and policies.

10. Third-Party Services

Localfox relies on third-party infrastructure, services, and APIs (such as Google Calendar) to deliver certain platform functionality. The availability of these third-party services may affect the availability of related Localfox features, and we are not responsible for outages or changes caused by third-party providers.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Localfox to:

• Engage in unlawful activity or fraud;
• Impersonate any person or entity;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
• Scrape, harvest, or misuse data from the platform;
• Upload or transmit malware or other harmful code;
• Attempt to disrupt or interfere with the platform’s operation; or
• Misuse candidate or employer information for purposes outside the recruitment workflow.

12. Intellectual Property

Localfox and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the Localfox platform, including its software, design, and branding. Users retain ownership of the content they submit (such as resumes and job postings), and grant Localfox a limited license to use that content to operate the platform.

13. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

14. Service Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of Localfox at any time, and we aim to provide reasonable notice of material changes where practical. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the platform.

15. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Localfox for any account that violates these Terms, engages in misuse of the platform, or poses a risk to other users or to the security of the platform. You may stop using Localfox and request account closure at any time.

16. Disclaimers

Localfox is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, regarding the platform or any outcomes from its use.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Localfox will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including hiring outcomes or decisions made by employers or candidates using Localfox.

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Localfox harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed in accordance with the laws applicable to the Localfox legal entity operating this platform. Where a specific governing jurisdiction is required for a particular agreement, it will be set out in that agreement or communicated to you directly.

20. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last Updated” date above when we do, and continued use of Localfox after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
